Share a website with a static QR code
Use a URL QR code on a menu, flyer, product guide or event poster so people can open your website with a phone camera. Enter the full http or https address you want them to visit.
The destination is stored directly in the image. PixieQR does not keep the address, shorten it or count scans. Updating a printed code means creating a new image unless you control the content at the original web address.
How to make a QR code for a link
- Paste the full website address, including https:// or http://.
- Check the preview, then download PNG or SVG.
- Scan the downloaded file with a phone and confirm that it opens the intended page before sharing or printing.
Choose PNG or SVG for your link
PNG is a 512 × 512 pixel image for sharing in documents and on screens. SVG stays sharp when resized and is useful for print layouts. Both encode the same address; changing the file format does not make the destination editable.
If the link will not scan or open
Keep the light border around the QR code and avoid stretching, cropping or placing a logo over it. Test the final printed size in its actual lighting and at the expected scanning distance.
If the camera reads the code but the page fails to open, check the address and the website itself. A URL QR code needs a network connection to open its destination.
